The Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has approved the immediate reinstatement of Hon. Agbaiji Mbeh Agbaiji as the Special Adviser on Aviation.
DAILY POST reports that the governor’s aide was one of those sacked on Monday over refusal to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor had in an earlier statement, terminated the appointments of four Commissioners and five Special Advisers for not decamping to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as he did recently.
However, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita, the governor clarified that Hon. Agbaiji Mbeh Agbaiji’s name was included in the list in error.
The statement reads, “The State Governor, His Excellency, Sir Ben Ayade has approved the immediate reinstatement of Hon. Agbaiji Mbeh Agbaiji as the Special Adviser on Aviation.
“Hon. Agbaiji’s name was included in error amongst those relieved of their appointments in a press release issued earlier today”.
